On 27 June 2026, Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Surachai Chaniang, Associate Dean for Student Development and International Affairs, as well as faculty members, staff, and the Student Council, led nursing students to participate in NPU Pride 2026: Nature Embracing Diversity, held at Kan Kera Plaza in front of the Indochina Market, Nakhon Phanom Municipality.
The event was organized to promote equality, gender diversity, and social inclusion, while fostering an open learning environment that respects human dignity. It also provided students with opportunities to express their creativity, talents, and teamwork through a variety of activities, including the Pride Parade, a public forum, and the Pride Costume Contest.
On this occasion, Ms. Khemika Banthoeng, a first-year Bachelor of Nursing Science student, together with her team representing Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, received the First Runner-Up Award in the Pride Costume Contest. Their outstanding costume design and presentation, inspired by the spirit of Pride Month, reflected creativity, effectively communicated the values of diversity and inclusion, and demonstrated excellent teamwork. The award-winning costumes were thoughtfully created using recycled materials, showcasing environmental responsibility alongside artistic innovation.
Participation in this event marks another proud achievement for Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University. The College remains committed to providing students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities that foster 21st-century competencies, including creativity, collaboration, appreciation of diversity, and the ability to thrive in a multicultural society.
