On August 28, 2026, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, organized the “Safe and Livable College: Promoting Learning and Work, Environmental Friendliness and Accessibility for People with Special Needs, and Supporting the Development of Nursing Graduates” project. The activity focused on improving the College’s physical environment, enhancing safety standards, and promoting sustainable environmental management.
The event was held at the Fa Tho Tawan Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom.
Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, presided over the opening ceremony. She emphasized the importance of developing a safe, livable, and supportive environment for learning and work, while ensuring environmental sustainability and accessibility for all.
Following the opening ceremony, Lecturer Sirirat Intharakasem, Deputy Dean for Administration and Resource Development, presented the implementation guidelines for improving the College’s physical environment, with an emphasis on enhancing safety standards and creating an environmentally friendly organization.
The program also featured a lecture entitled “Guidelines for Carbon Footprint Assessment for Sustainable Environmental Management,” delivered by Ms. Pawinee Somanawat. The session aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of environmental impact assessment and the application of carbon footprint data to improve organizational environmental management in an efficient and sustainable manner.
In the afternoon, participants took part in a workshop and case-study session on “Guidelines for Carbon Footprint Assessment for Sustainable Environmental Management.” The workshop provided opportunities for participants to exchange knowledge, engage in practical analysis, and apply the knowledge gained to the improvement of the College’s environment and operations in a concrete and effective manner.
This initiative reflects the commitment of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, to advancing toward a “Safe and Livable College.” Through continuous improvement of its physical environment and safety systems, the College aims to create a safe, environmentally friendly, inclusive, and accessible learning and working environment for all.
The initiative also contributes to enhancing the quality of life of students, faculty, staff, and service users, while supporting high-quality nursing education and the development of competent nursing graduates who are socially and environmentally responsible and prepared to create sustainable value for society.
