BCNN Holds Voice of Stakeholders Meeting to Drive Strategic Development

On July 14, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the Voice of Stakeholders meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to gather feedback and needs from various stakeholders in order to review and revise the college’s strategic plan in alignment with current circumstances.

This meeting was honored by the presence of the Vice President, Assistant to the President, Vice Deans, Assistant Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, academic and support staff, students, alumni, and representatives from both internal units of Nakhon Phanom University and external organizations. These included representatives from the Nakhon Phanom Provincial Education Office, Secondary Education Service Area Office, Provincial Public Health Office, Nakhon Phanom Hospital, Nakhon Phanom Ratchanakharin Psychiatric Hospital, Provincial Office for the Promotion of Learning, Provincial Social Welfare Development Center for Older Persons, Nakhon Phanom Elderly Club, and alumni representatives. The event was held at the “Ming Nakhon Phanom” Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Chalermphrakiat Building (Celebrating the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary), Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom.

The meeting emphasized participatory development in setting the direction of the college’s advancement—focusing on staff development, budget management, and improving the quality of education. The goal is to drive the college toward becoming a high-quality, standard-compliant nursing education institution within the Greater Mekong Subregion. This initiative also serves as a foundation for preparing the college’s Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year 2026 (BCNN UP). The atmosphere was constructive and inclusive, with stakeholders offering diverse and valuable suggestions to support the college’s comprehensive future development.

Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom Organizes Nursing Competency Assessment (OSCE) for Pediatric and Adolescent Nursing Practicum I

On July 4, 2025, Assistant Professor Sirinatt Pokaphatchphubet, Head of the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Nursing, along with faculty members from the same department at Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom University, organized the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for the course Pediatric and Adolescent Nursing Practicum I.

 

The assessment was conducted for 14 third-year undergraduate nursing students from groups J and K at the Pediatric and Adolescent Nursing Laboratory, located in the Celebratory Building for His Majesty the King’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary at Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom.

Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom Organizes “Senior Guides Junior” Activity to Prepare for Reverse Demonstration Exams, Enhancing Professional Nursing Skills Towards Excellence

On July 5, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the opening ceremony of the activity “Senior Guides Junior: Preparation for the Reverse Demonstration Exam in the Practice of Basic Concepts and Principles of Nursing.” The activity was organized under the 21st Century Skills Development Project for Excellence, aiming to enhance knowledge, confidence, and precision in professional nursing skills among second-year students. Senior students shared their experiences, techniques, and practical guidance for real-life clinical situations—such as intravenous fluid administration, various types of injections, wound care, catheter insertion, and other essential nursing skills.

The event was held at the Pol. Gen. Sanong Wattanawarangkun Meeting Room, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom University, with participation from administrators, faculty, staff, and students.

The activity was jointly organized by the Division of Special Affairs and Organizational Image Promotion, the Division of Student Development and International Relations, and the Student Union of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom. It emphasized the development of 21st-century Career & Learning Skills, alongside the promotion of participatory learning, fostering a friendly atmosphere, and strengthening the bond between senior and junior students.

Under the concept “Seniors Guide, Juniors Master the Skills”, the project aimed to build a culture of collaborative learning, knowledge sharing, and comprehensive preparation for students to become high-quality professional nurses, who possess a true nursing spirit and strong clinical expertise.

BCNN Organizes Capacity Development Program for Support Personnel – Phase I

On July 1, 2025, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, under Nakhon Phanom University, organized the first phase of a personnel development program aimed at enhancing the competency of support staff for career advancement. The program was officially opened by Asst. Prof. Sirirat Intrakasem, Deputy Dean for Administration and Resource Development, on behalf of Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of the College.

The primary objective of the program is to encourage and support support personnel in preparing themselves for higher positions in accordance with the university’s promotion criteria. It emphasizes systematic self-development, aiming for effective and sustainable advancement.

The knowledge-sharing sessions were conducted by Asst. Prof. Sirirat Intrakasem, Ms. Sirikun Chanda (Professional General Administration Officer), and Ms. Sirinat Tonsawan (Professional Academic Officer). The topics covered included:

  • Guidelines for career progression of support personnel at Nakhon Phanom University

  • University regulations on position classification and promotion criteria (2023)

  • Development of academic work, research, and creation of procedural manuals for support staff

The event was held at the “Fah Thor Tawan” meeting room, 2nd floor, Chalermphrakiat Building (Celebrating the King’s 84th Birthday), Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom.

BCNN Holds Scholarship Committee Meeting in Preparation for the 2025 Wai Khru Ceremony, Capping Ceremony, Promotion, and Scholarship Presentation

On July 1, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sitthikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom (BCNN Nakhon Phanom), Nakhon Phanom University, presided over a meeting to review scholarship allocations for the Wai Khru Ceremony, Capping Ceremony, Student Promotion, Scholarship Awards, and “Duang Prateep” (Lantern of Wisdom) Presentation for the academic year 2025.

Associate Professor Dr. Surachai Chaniang, Associate Dean for Student Development and International Affairs, reported the number of scholarship donors supporting this year’s event. The meeting was attended by the college’s executive team, faculty, and staff, and held at the Srikhotaburirat Meeting Room, 9th Floor, Chalermprakiat Building (Commemorating the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary), BCNN Nakhon Phanom.

The Department of Adult and Elderly Nursing, BCNN, Organizes Training to Prepare 4th-Year Nursing Students for Basic and Advanced Life Support

On July 2, 2025, the Department of Adult and Elderly Nursing, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, conducted a teaching session to prepare 4th-year Bachelor of Nursing Science students (Class 30, Group AB) for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). The training included hands-on practice through simulation-based learning, held at the 4th-floor Nursing Laboratory, Chalermprakiat Building, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom.

Simulation-based instruction provides students with opportunities to practice life-saving skills in realistic scenarios, enhancing their readiness and confidence for real-life clinical practice. It also helps develop essential skills such as teamwork, decision-making, and effective problem-solving.

This educational activity reflects the college’s strong commitment to producing high-quality nursing graduates who are competent, professionally precise, and fully prepared to provide safe and effective patient care.

BCNN Undergoes Internal Quality Assessment for the Academic Year 2024 (Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner)

On June 30, 2025, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, underwent an internal quality assessment at the program level for the academic year 2024. The assessment was conducted for the Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the event and delivered the welcome speech to the assessment committee.

This assessment aimed to review and evaluate the college’s performance over the past academic year and to receive feedback and recommendations from the committee for continuous improvement.

The assessment committee included:
