BCNN Conducts Admission Interviews for Bachelor of Nursing Science Program for Academic Year 2025
On June 4, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, assigned Asst. Prof. Prapairat Kaewsiri, Deputy Dean for Academic Development, to preside over the admission interview and selection process for the 33rd cohort of the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program under the Admission Round for the 2025 academic year.

The interviews were conducted online via Microsoft Teams. The interview committee thoroughly evaluated each applicant’s performance and held intensive discussions to select candidates who best met the program’s criteria.

Upon completion of the interview process, the list of successful candidates who are eligible for enrollment will be officially announced on June 6, 2025, via the website: www.admission.npu.ac.th./ https://mytcas.com/

BCNN Advances Financial and Accounting Systems with Technology and Good Governance

On June 4, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the opening ceremony of the Project for Enhancing Financial and Accounting Management Systems through Effective Technology and Good Governance. The opening remarks were delivered by Asst. Prof. Sirirat Intrakasem, Deputy Dean for Administration and Resource Development. The event was attended by faculty members and staff, all of whom joined with enthusiasm.

The project aims to enhance understanding and skills in managing financial and accounting systems aligned with the digital era, emphasizing transparency, efficiency, and rapid service delivery. The objectives include developing a real-time expenditure monitoring system, establishing a financial database to support effective administrative decision-making, reducing the time and steps required for processing financial documents, and improving service efficiency for both personnel and students. Furthermore, the project supports the modernization of financial strategic planning to better respond to current conditions.

The event was held at Ming Nakhon Phanom Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Chalerm Phra Kiat Building (Commemorating the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary), Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

This project reflects the College’s strong commitment to developing a modern, transparent, and fair internal management system, driving the organization forward in alignment with contemporary administrative practices based on the principles of good governance.

BCNN Workshop on “Techniques for Writing Funded Research Proposals” to Enhance Academic Staff’s Potential

On May 29–30, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Nakhon Phanom Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the opening of a hands-on workshop titled “Techniques for Writing Funded Research Proposals.”

This training featured a special lecture by Asst. Prof. Dr. Prateep Phuengthonglang from Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Chiang Mai. Dr. Prateep is a certified “Hen Coach” (mentor) by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), with extensive hands-on experience in successfully securing national-level research funding. He shared his expertise, strategies, and practical guidance on crafting compelling research proposals. The workshop was attended by the college’s administrators and faculty members and held at the Fah Thor Tawan Conference Room, 2nd floor, Chalermprakiet 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Nakhon Phanom Boromarajonani College of Nursing.

This workshop aimed to build knowledge, understanding, and practical skills in research proposal writing for academic staff. The goal is to help participants develop high-quality proposals aligned with funding agencies’ requirements and to promote efficient acquisition of external funding. In addition, the session served as a platform for inspiration, experience sharing, and learning from seasoned researchers.

Nakhon Phanom Boromarajonani College of Nursing hopes that this workshop will be a significant step toward enhancing its research capabilities, leading to the development of impactful research outputs that meet community and societal needs. The acquired knowledge is expected to benefit both current and future research proposal efforts.

BCNN Hosts “Entrepreneurial Skills” Workshop to Equip Students for the Business World

On May 28, 2025, the Student Development and International Relations Division of Nakhon Phanom University organized a hands-on workshop titled “Entrepreneurial Skills” to promote and enhance students’ capabilities in starting and managing their own businesses. The event was officially opened by Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, with a welcoming address and overview of the program’s objectives delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Surachai Chaniang, Associate Dean for Student Development and International Relations. The event was held at Srikhotraboon Auditorium, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

The workshop featured expert guest speakers, including:

  • Ms. Panida Phutrakul, from Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nonthaburi

  • Mr. Kittisak Kampira, from the Faculty of Nursing, Nakhon Sawan University

The training covered key topics such as:

  • Starting a business from the ground up

  • Business management strategies and differentiation

  • Business expansion and development opportunities

This initiative aimed to encourage students to explore entrepreneurial thinking in a creative and practical way, while also inspiring them to become future entrepreneurs who are adaptable, innovative, and well-prepared for the challenges of a rapidly changing world.

กิจกรรม “Talk Today Talk To Dean#3/2025” มีเป้าหมายเพื่อเปิดพื้นที่ให้นักศึกษาได้พบปะ พูดคุย และสะท้อนความคิดเห็นต่อผู้บริหารอย่างใกล้ชิด โดยในครั้งนี้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นในหลายประเด็น อาทิ การเข้าพักในหอพัก การแต่งกายของนักศึกษา การปรับปรุงสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก และการส่งเสริมกิจกรรมนอกหลักสูตร รวมถึงแนวทางการพัฒนาทักษะวิชาชีพ

บรรยากาศภายในงานเป็นไปอย่างอบอุ่นและเป็นกันเอง นักศึกษาได้แสดงความคิดเห็นอย่างเปิดเผย ผู้บริหารรับฟังด้วยความใส่ใจ พร้อมให้คำแนะนำอย่างสร้างสรรค์ เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตและการเรียนรู้ของนักศึกษาอย่างรอบด้าน

BCNN Hosts 2nd Alumni Association Meeting of 2025, Gearing Up for Academic Conference and “Fah Thong Homecoming” Event

On May 26, 2025, Dr. Supranee Suttikarn, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom University, officially opened the 2nd Meeting of the Nakhon Phanom University Nursing Alumni Association for the year 2025. The meeting was held in Room NU 305, 3rd Floor, Chalermprakiat Building (Commemorating the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary) at the college.

The meeting was honored by the presence of Ms. Rungnapa Udanon, Senior Professional Nurse at Tha Uthen Hospital, who serves as the President of the Alumni Association. She chaired the meeting alongside the association’s executive committee. Also in attendance were Asst. Prof. Dr. Surachai Cheniang, Associate Dean for Student Development and International Relations, as well as faculty members and staff from the student development and international affairs division.

Key agenda items included the proposal to register the new executive committee to replace the outgoing team whose term has ended, the 2025 operational plan, and preparations for the upcoming Nursing Alumni Academic Conference and “Fah Thong Homecoming” event scheduled for September 13–14, 2025. Further details of the event will be announced in due course.

The college remains committed to strengthening the alumni network and enhancing its institutional image. It continues to promote creative public engagement, expand communication channels, and foster positive relationships among alumni for long-term collaboration and mutual support.

Advances Practical Training Plans with 7 Network Hospitals in Northeastern Thailand

During May 20–28, 2025, Dr. Supranee Suttikarn, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, led the initiative to explain the practical training management plan at Nakhon Phanom Hospital and Nakhon Phanom Ratchanakarin Psychiatric Hospital. She assigned Asst. Prof. Prapairat Kaewsiri, Associate Dean for Educational Development, to lead a team of administrators and faculty members responsible for practical courses to present the training framework to seven affiliated hospitals in the northeastern region.

The main objective of the visits was to hold discussions with hospital executives and representatives to align on the implementation of practical education, student internship management, faculty readiness, and collaboration in enhancing students’ professional skills to meet the future needs of the healthcare system.

Additionally, the college representatives extended congratulations to the Deputy Director of Nursing at Mukdahan Hospital and met with directors of the network hospitals to plan and ensure readiness for the upcoming academic year’s practical training for Bachelor of Nursing Science students.

BCNN Organizes Curriculum Critique Activity for the Revised Bachelor of Nursing Science Program (B.E. 2569)

From May 26–27, 2025, the Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, organized an activity titled “Curriculum Critique for the Revised Bachelor of Nursing Science Program (B.E. 2569).” The event was presided over by Dr. Supranee Suttikarn, Dean of the College, who delivered a welcome speech to the external experts and curriculum critique committee. Participating in the event were Assistant Professor Prapairat Kaewsiri, Associate Dean for Educational Development, along with the executive team, faculty members, curriculum committee members, and relevant staff. The activity was held both online and onsite at the Mueang Nakhon Phanom Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Chalerm Phrakiat Building (Celebrating the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary), Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

The curriculum presentation was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Chadarat Kaewwiangdet, Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Learning Support, together with the faculty responsible for the revised Bachelor of Nursing Science Program (B.E. 2569). The session was honored by several esteemed experts, including:

The goal was to make the program responsive to the evolving healthcare service system.

The primary objective of this activity was to ensure that the revised Bachelor of Nursing Science curriculum (B.E. 2569) meets quality standards and can effectively produce competent nursing graduates who are equipped for real-world practice. The program aims to meet the needs of society and the national healthcare system sustainably—locally, nationally, and internationally. Furthermore, it is designed to be adaptable to future changes in healthcare contexts and align with the direction of nursing profession development in the 21st century efficiently and appropriately.

On May 26, 2025, Professor Emeritus Dr. Thawatchai Supadis, President of Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the opening ceremony of the “SHARE & LEARN” event organized by Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom (BCNN). This initiative aims to promote creativity, research skills, and health innovation among nursing students, as well as to encourage the application of technology to enhance the quality of nursing services.

 

Dr. Supranee Sitthikan, Dean of BCNN, delivered the welcome address at the event, which took place at the Pol. Gen. Sanong Wattanawarangkul Conference Hall, HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, BCNN (City Campus), Nakhon Phanom University.

 

As part of the event, 30 third-year nursing students presented 15 innovative projects that were developed through critical thinking and experimental research. These projects focused on new methods and technologies for health promotion, patient care, and nursing management. Selected projects will have the opportunity to be submitted to national and international competitions.
