BCNN Holds Annual Elderly Health Promotion Club Meeting 2025 and Launches New Club Name “Kankrao Sang Suk” to Empower Communities Toward a Quality Aging Society

On May 26, 2025, the Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, under Nakhon Phanom University, held the Annual Meeting of the Elderly Health Promotion Club for the year 2025.

Dr. Supranee Suttikan, Dean of the Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, delegated Mrs. Praphatporn Chaliewan, Chairperson of the Elderly Club of the College, to preside over the meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to drive forward and consider approaches for organizing activities aimed at improving the quality of life for the elderly in the local area. Additionally, the meeting appointed a new executive committee to effectively continue the club’s mission.

The meeting was attended by elderly committee members from local communities, as well as faculty members, staff, and related personnel. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and filled with constructive exchanges of ideas. The meeting was held at the Srikhotraburi Room, 9th Floor, Chalerm Phra Kiat Building (Commemorating the King’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary), Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom.

One of the key agenda items was naming the Elderly Health Promotion Club. The meeting unanimously agreed on the name “Kankrao Sang Suk” (meaning “Kankrao Tree Cultivates Happiness”). The name was inspired by the “Kankrao Tree,” which is the symbolic tree of both Nakhon Phanom University and Nakhon Phanom Province. It represents strength, stability, and sustainable growth. The chosen name reflects the club’s intention to promote health, enhance happiness, and improve the quality of life for elderly community members in a meaningful and valuable way.

Other important agenda items discussed included:

Issuing an official appointment order for the 2025 club executive committee

Designing a logo for the club

Drafting the club’s rules and regulations

Developing publicity strategies and plans for recruiting new members

Creating the club’s annual activity and operational plan for 2025 and the fiscal year 2026

Developing the club’s webpage to serve as a communication and engagement platform for members and the community.

Furthermore, faculty members and staff from the Academic Services and Social Engagement Division, led by Ajarn Phayom Sinthusiri, appointed Ajarn Dachanee Suwannakom, Ajarn Sukmaporn Phuengphasuk, and Ms. Kannika Nontawongsri to participate in the meeting and provide suggestions and support for the club’s operations.

This meeting highlighted the significant role of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, in advancing its academic service mission with strong community participation, promoting health education, and supporting the overall well-being of the elderly—physically, mentally, and socially.

The college remains committed to building collaborative networks with local partners to promote the health and well-being of people of all ages and to effectively prepare for an aging society in the future.

BCNN Presented Practical Education Plans at Training Sites: Sakhon Nakhon Hospital and Somdej Phra Yuparat That Phanom Hospital

On May 23, 2025, Dr. Supranee Suttikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, under Nakhon Phanom University, assigned Assistant Professor Prapairat Kaewsiri, Associate Dean for Educational Development, to lead a team visit to the practical training sites.

The team included Ms. Duangjai Boonkong, Head of Adult and Elderly Nursing; Assistant Professor Sirinath Phokaphatphubet, Head of Pediatric and Adolescent Nursing; Ms. Siriporn Hemathulin, Head of Maternal, Newborn, and Midwifery Nursing; along with other faculty members responsible for practical courses. The purpose of the visit was to present and discuss the practical education plan for the Bachelor of Nursing Science students for the academic year 2025.

During the visit, the team engaged in constructive discussions with representatives from both hospitals, focusing on key aspects such as the structure of clinical teaching, student practice management, faculty preparation, and strategies to enhance professional nursing skills. The collaboration also aimed to ensure that students are well-equipped to meet the demands of the evolving healthcare system.

Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, remains committed to enhancing the quality of hands-on nursing education through close partnerships with clinical training sites. “Little Librarians” BCNN “Post-it Heal Your Heart” Activity and Enhance Service Skills

On May 21, 2025, the Curriculum and Learning Support Department of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, organized a “Little Librarians at Work” activity in conjunction with the “Living Library” under the theme “Post-it Heal Your Heart.” This initiative transformed the quiet library into a space for sharing and positive energy, inviting everyone to unleash positive vibes through Post-it notes. Participants also received recommendations for good books to help them through tiring days and had the chance to win cute prizes.

Many students participated in the event, as the library opened beyond regular hours. Members of the academic club acted as assistant librarians, providing services. This allowed students from the Bachelor of Nursing Science program, who are currently attending summer classes, to borrow and return books, and to develop research and innovation projects. This effort aims to enhance learning resources and ensure the library is not just a place to read, but a space for growth, encouragement, and sharing, benefiting students’ learning and serving as an excellent example of user-responsive service.


The next activity, “Rainy Mini Quiz: A Quiz to Beat the Wet and Boost Health Knowledge for the Rainy Season,” will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

BCNN Advances Procurement System Efficiency According to Good Governance Principles

May 19, 2025 – The Administration and Resource Development Department organized the project “Developing an Efficient Procurement System Based on Good Governance Principles” to monitor development outcomes and oversee operations in line with established guidelines, aiming to enhance the efficiency of the college’s procurement system.

The project took place at the Ming Nakhon Phanom Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Chalerm Prakiat Building at Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

Dr. Supranee Sittikarn, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, assigned Assistant Professor Sirirat Intarakasem, Associate Dean for Administration and Resource Development, to preside over the project. The initiative focuses on analyzing and developing an efficient procurement system. It provided an opportunity for representatives from each department to present their current situations and needs, with the goal of finding ways to further align the procurement system with good governance principles. The project also included workshops for monitoring, tracking, and mitigating potential risks in the procurement management process.

Participates in the 2025 Student Affairs Personnel and Student Leader Potential Development Project

On May 18, 2025, Dr. Supanee Sittikan, Dean of Nakhon Phanom Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom University, assigned the Student Development and International Relations Division to lead the Student Council Committee for the academic years 2024 and 2025 to participate in the 2025 Student Affairs Personnel and Student Leader Potential Development Project. The event took place on May 18, 2025, at the Phanom Sin Meeting Room, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Nakhon Phanom University.

The opening ceremony of the project was presided over by Honorary Professor Dr. Thawatชัย Supadit, President of Nakhon Phanom University, who also presented certificates to the Student Organization and Student Council of Nakhon Phanom University for the academic year 2024. Assistant Professor Dr. Kriangkrai Phasuta, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs and Arts and Culture, delivered a report on the project’s objectives. The project featured a panel discussion for knowledge exchange on various activities, with the participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Kriangkrai Phasuta, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs and Arts and Culture; Lecturer Raweewat Sripradit, a lecturer in the English Language program, Faculty of Education, Nakhon Phanom University; and representatives from the Student Organization. They jointly brainstormed ideas and approaches for creative integration of student activities. Additionally, a Team Building activity was conducted by Lecturer Piyapong Nachai, a lecturer at the College of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Nakhon Phanom University.

Furthermore, the Student Organization and Student Council of Nakhon Phanom University for the academic year 2024 organized the election for the President of the Student Organization and the President of the Student Council of Nakhon Phanom University for the academic year 2025. The election results showed that Miss Sutthathep Sawisit, a 3rd-year student majoring in Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Nakhon Phanom University, was elected as the President of the Student Organization of Nakhon Phanom University for the academic year 2025. Miss Siriyakorn Eksapang, a 1st-year student from Nakhon Phanom Boromarajonani College of Nursing, was elected as the President of the Student Council of Nakhon Phanom University for the academic year 2025. Simultaneously, the handover ceremony took place, where the President of the Student Organization and the President of the Student Council of Nakhon Phanom University for the academic year 2024 officially передали their responsibilities to the newly elected presidents for the academic year 2025. This was done to facilitate the planning and preparation for student activities throughout the academic year 2025.

BCNN Holds Graduate Studies Program Executive Committee Meeting to Enhance Teaching Quality for the 2025 Academic Year

May 16, 2025: Dr. Supanee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the 3/2024 meeting of the Graduate Studies Program Executive Committee, held in conjunction with the 8/2024 meeting of the Faculty Graduate Studies Committee. The purpose of the meeting was to consider and approve several important matters, including the course details and field experience (TQF 3 and TQF 4) for the first semester of the 2025 academic year, the list and qualifications of graduate-level instructors for the 2025 academic year, and the draft curriculum details (TQF 2) for the Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner (Revised Curriculum, B.E. 2569 [2026]).

The meeting was attended by administrators, program committee members, faculty members, and relevant staff who participated fully to jointly establish guidelines for developing a high-quality and modern curriculum that meets the needs of society and the community. The meeting took place in the Sri Khotburirat Room, 9th Floor, Chalermprakiat 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

BCNN Holds Seminar on Practical Nurse Certificate Program, Class 16, Semester 1 of Academic Year 2025

On May 14, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sitthikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, assigned Asst. Prof. Phayom Sinthasiri, Associate Dean for Academic Services and Social Empowerment, to preside over the opening of the seminar on the Practical Nurse Certificate Program, Class 16, for the first semester of the 2025 academic year. The event aimed to exchange ideas on managing the curriculum to ensure its quality and alignment with professional standards. Presentations and discussions were held regarding the courses to be offered in the upcoming semester.

The seminar was attended by the curriculum management subcommittee, course coordinators, and relevant faculty members, and took place at the Mueang Nakhon Phanom Conference Room, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

On April 17–18, 2025, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, organized a project titled “Educational Quality Assurance Towards International Excellence: Preparing for Program-Level Educational Quality Assessment according to AUN-QA Version 4.0 Criteria.” Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the opening ceremony. Assistant Professor Dr. Benjayamas Pilayon, Assistant Dean for Educational Quality Assurance, delivered the introductory report. The event was held at the Fah Tor Tawan Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Chalermprakiat 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

The 2-day workshop was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Ratchanee Sansern, an expert in nursing education, who served as the guest speaker, imparting knowledge throughout the session. The training covered key topics such as educational quality assessment guidelines, the preparation of Self-Assessment Reports (SAR), and practical knowledge exchange through interactive Q&A sessions.
