BCNN Holds “Dhamma and Life” Activity to Empower Students Towards a Balanced Life

On April 30, 2025, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, organized a “Dhamma and Life” activity. This was part of the “Project for Promoting and Developing 21st Century Skills for Student Excellence,” under the topic “Guidelines for Living a Successful Worldly Life,” for students and staff. The event took place at the Police General Sanong… Conference Room, 3rd Floor, Chalermprakiat 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, along with Ms. Nathamon Jompang, Assistant Dean for Special Affairs and Organizational Image Promotion, and faculty members from the department, who warmly welcomed the guest speakers. Faculty members and students enthusiastically participated in the activity.

A distinguished panel of guest speakers delivered Dhamma talks, led by Kruba Chaiwat Akkachayo from Wat Pa Raksa Jai, Saraburi Province. He was accompanied by Kruba Morkorn, a former honors doctor from Surin Hospital; Kruba Home, a former pilot; Mae Chee Pumpui, a former medical technologist; and Mae Chee Nan, a former Korean Airlines flight attendant.

Additionally, the Kruba Chaiwat Foundation and CP ALL (7-Eleven) presented scholarships to virtuous nursing students of the college. This was intended to provide morale and encouragement in their studies, and to promote a mindful and balanced approach to both their academic and personal lives.

This activity reflected the college’s role as an institution that produces nursing graduates by focusing on developing life skills alongside professional learning. The aim is to cultivate healthcare personnel of quality and virtue, ready to create sustainable value for society.

BCNN Drives Nursing Leadership Development and Strengthens Collaboration with Training Hospitals

On April 29, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, along with Lecturer Tassawan Sunanta, were honored as special guest lecturers for the project “Knowledge Exchange for Nursing Organization Development Towards Success” at Somdet Phra Yuparat That Phanom Hospital, Nakhon Phanom Province. Personnel from Somdet Phra Yuparat That Phanom Hospital and its network hospitals participated in the event.

This lecture focused on enhancing the potential of nursing leaders through key topics such as “Mindset Before Becoming a Nursing Leader” and “Organizational Development Towards Achievement.” This served as preparation for professional nurses aspiring to managerial positions.

The activity reflected the significant role of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom as an academic hub committed to developing nursing personnel into leaders of change and serving as a key mechanism for enhancing the quality of the healthcare service system. It also aimed to expand cooperation with training hospitals to build a strong nursing professional network and create value for society.

BCNN Hosts Event to Present Development Plans and Innovative Models for Teaching and Learning under FY2025 Project

On May 8, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the opening of the event “Presentation of Development Plans and Innovative Models Used in Teaching and Learning Management.” This was held under the Teaching and Learning Promotion and Development Project (R 2-3) for the Fiscal Year 2025. Assistant Professor Prapairat Kaewsiri, Associate Dean for Educational Development, presented a report on the event’s objectives. The event took place at the Fah Tor Tawan Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Chalermprakiat 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

The objective of this activity was to encourage faculty members and educational personnel to present their development plans and innovations applied in teaching and learning management. The goal was to enhance efficiency and the quality of student learning. Furthermore, it served as a platform for knowledge exchange among faculty members within the institution, which will be beneficial for elevating educational management in the future.

On May 7, 2025, the Special Affairs and Organizational Image Promotion Department of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, organized an activity to enhance English communication skills for nursing students under the theme “Speak Smile and Smart.” Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, presided over the event and delivered the opening remarks. Ms. Nathamon Jompang, Assistant Dean for Special Affairs and Organizational Image Promotion, along with faculty members from the department, facilitated the activities. This was aligned with the “Speak, Smile, and Smart” concept, which aimed to provide participants with knowledge, confidence, and inspiration for self-development.

BCNN Preschool Center’s “Little Ones Love Culture” Activity Promotes Early Childhood Learning and Development

On April 11, 2025, the Preschool Child Development Center of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, organized the “Little Ones Love Culture” activity. This event was part of its Preschool Child Development Center Management Project for the year 2025. Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, assigned Lecturer Payom Sinthusiri, Associate Dean for Academic Services and Social Empowerment, to lead faculty members, teaching assistants, students from the practical nursing certificate program, and children from the center in the activity. The event took place at Wat Klang, Nai Mueang Sub-district, Mueang District, Nakhon Phanom Province.

The activity aimed to help children learn about Thai culture, fostering kindness, sharing, and good deeds. It also aimed to promote their social and emotional development through participation in religious activities, such as alms giving, which helped instill virtues, kindness, sharing, and the practice of doing good deeds. Furthermore, it supported the age-appropriate social and emotional growth of the children in a warm and joyful atmosphere filled with smiles.

The Student Club of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom (BCNN) Unites for Volunteer Activities to Clean Key College Event Venues

On December 8, 2024, the Student Club of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom participated in a volunteer activity by cleaning the Buddha statue, the royal statue courtyard, and the Princess Mother Memorial area. They also polished and applied a protective coating to enhance the beauty and prominence of the Princess Mother statue, ahead of further landscape improvements to be carried out by experts.

This activity not only demonstrated the unity and collaboration among students but also served as an excellent example of volunteerism to improve the college. It highlighted the importance of preserving the value and significance of the key locations used for various events and ceremonies at Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, under Nakhon Phanom University, a university committed to community development.
