BCNN Undergoes Internal Quality Assessment for the Academic Year 2024 (Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner)

On June 30, 2025, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, underwent an internal quality assessment at the program level for the academic year 2024. The assessment was conducted for the Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the event and delivered the welcome speech to the assessment committee.

This assessment aimed to review and evaluate the college’s performance over the past academic year and to receive feedback and recommendations from the committee for continuous improvement.

The assessment committee included:

  • Associate Professor Dr. Nonglak Methakanchanasak, Chairperson, Khon Kaen University

  • Associate Professor Dr. Jitpinan Srichakkhoth, Committee Member, Khon Kaen University

  • Dr. Muthuda Kaensuwan, Committee Member and Secretary, Nakhon Phanom University

The assessment took place at the “Ming Nakhon Phanom” meeting room, 2nd Floor, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

BCNN joins “NPU Pride Month 2025” to showcase the power of gender and cultural diversity

On June 28, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sitthikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom University, together with the college’s executives, faculty members, and students, participated in the “NPU Pride Month 2025” event to celebrate Pride Month and promote acceptance of gender and cultural diversity. The event was held at Phanom Naka Plaza, in front of Indochina Market, Mueang District, Nakhon Phanom Province.

The event was honored by Professor Emeritus Dr. Thawatchai Supadis, President of Nakhon Phanom University, who presided over the opening ceremony. Assistant Professor Dr. Runglawan Iamkusalakit, Vice President for Special Affairs and Educational Quality Assurance, delivered the welcome address.

The event featured a wide range of creative activities starting from 5:00 PM, with highlights such as a vibrant and imaginative LGBTQ+ fancy parade, an academic discussion on “Is Love Diverse?: Sexuality, Emotions, and Human Identity”—a platform for sharing knowledge and understanding about gender diversity, and a LGBTQ+ costume contest with cash prizes totaling over 10,000 baht. Participants were also given the opportunity to freely and joyfully express their identity in an inclusive and celebratory atmosphere.

 

This participation reflects the role of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, in promoting an equitable society that values differences and supports everyone in expressing their true selves with pride, within a warm, friendly, and non-discriminatory environment.

BCNN Nakhon Phanom Undergoes Internal Quality Assessment for the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program, Academic Year 2024

On June 25, 2025, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom (BCNN Nakhon Phanom) underwent an internal quality assessment for the Bachelor of Nursing Science program for the academic year 2024. Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of BCNN Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the opening session and delivered a welcoming address to the assessment committee.

This assessment aimed to evaluate the college’s performance over the past academic year and receive constructive feedback from the committee for continuous improvement. The assessment committee was chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Nilawan Chantapreeda, an independent academic, and included Associate Professor Dr. Phusnisa Meenakhate from Ubon Ratchathani University and Associate Professor Dr. Pratchaya Thongpanit from Nakhon Phanom University, who served as both committee member and secretary.

The assessment took place at the Ming Nakhon Phanom Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, at BCNN Nakhon Phanom. The event was attended by the college’s executive team, faculty members, staff, and students.

BCNN Organizes an Extracurricular Enrichment Activity for the 16th Cohort of Practical Nurse Certificate Students, Preparing Them for the Digital Workforce

On June 11, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom (BCNN), Nakhon Phanom University, assigned Asst. Prof. Phayom Sinthushiri, Associate Dean for Academic Services and Social Engagement, to preside over the opening ceremony of the extracurricular enrichment activity for the 16th cohort of the Practical Nurse Certificate Program. The activity was held in Classroom 2A, Building 1, at BCNN Nakhon Phanom.

The morning session featured a hands-on workshop led by Mr. Wuttikorn Praphatsarang, Audiovisual Specialist, and Mr. Thanapon Thamikarnon, Computer Specialist, who delivered lectures on “Technology Skills for Professional Practice” and “Learning in the Digital Age.” The content focused on applying information technology in everyday life and academic learning, including the use of design software like Canva, NPU Mail (the university’s email system), and Microsoft 365. These tools help students perform their tasks efficiently, communicate systematically, and adapt to the healthcare service context.

In the afternoon, students attended lectures on “Medical and Nursing Terminology” and “English for Communication in the Practical Nurse Certificate Program” by Mr. David England, an English language expert. He provided essential vocabulary and communication techniques for interacting with patients, emphasizing the importance of using precise and accurate terminology.

Toward the end of the program, students had the opportunity to engage in discussions, ask questions, and reflect on their learning experiences with the speakers in a close and interactive setting. This created a vibrant learning atmosphere and inspired students to pursue continuous self-improvement.

 

This activity reflects BCNN Nakhon Phanom’s commitment to promoting active learning and integrating diverse skill sets to prepare students academically, professionally, and with the competencies needed to work effectively in a rapidly evolving healthcare system—laying a solid foundation for future health professionals.

BCNN Welcomes Monitoring and Support Team for the Nursing Assistant Certificate Program under the 2025 High Vocational Education Innovation Scholarship Project (1st Round)

On June 25, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, together with the college executives and faculty members, warmly welcomed the monitoring and support team for the Nursing Assistant Certificate Program under the 2025 High Vocational Education Innovation Scholarship Project (1st Round). The field visit was scheduled for June 25–26, 2025.

The visiting team included Mr. Janyawat Thapchan, President of the Community Nurses Network Foundation, and Associate Professor Dr. Sakda Khamkhom, representative of the Equitable Education Fund (EEF). The purpose of the visit was to follow up, encourage, and support scholarship recipients in preparing for academic success and future careers.

Activities during the visit included reviewing scholarship application documents (EEF.01), entrance exam results, and holding discussions with program administrators to exchange insights on curriculum management and student development. The team also conducted interviews with academic advisors and had one-on-one conversations with scholarship recipients to gather feedback and suggestions.

In addition, the team met with groups of scholarship students and conducted home visits to better understand the students’ living environments. The visit concluded with a summary session to inform future planning for student support and development.

This activity is part of a close-monitoring strategy aimed at maximizing the impact of the scholarship, ensuring students’ success both academically and professionally.

BCNN an Orientation and Preparatory Program for Graduate Students in the Master of Nursing Science Program, Major in Community Nurse Practitioner, Class 4, Academic Year 2025

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sitthikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, assigned Assistant Professor Pipatpong Khemphanya, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies, Research, and Innovation, to preside over the opening of the orientation and preparatory program for graduate students enrolled in the Master of Nursing Science Program, majoring in Community Nurse Practitioner, Class 4, Academic Year 2025.

Also in attendance were Assistant Professor Dr. Nucharat Mungkalakeeree, Program Chair; Assistant Professor Dr. Benjayamas Pilayont; and Assistant Professor Dr. Orauma Kaewkoet, faculty members responsible for the program. They warmly welcomed the new students and introduced the teaching team, administrative staff, graduate studies office, and course coordinators.

The orientation was held online via Microsoft Teams. The event aimed to foster understanding and readiness among graduate students, with experts and distinguished professionals from both within and outside the university providing guidance. Topics covered included the use of the graduate academic services system, Microsoft Teams, NPU email, educational technologies for online learning, smart education technologies, and strategies for adapting to graduate-level studies.

This activity reflects the college’s commitment to preparing graduate students both academically and professionally, equipping them with the competencies needed to become future leaders in community nurse practitioner practice.

Academic Service Project for Community-Based Development: Annual Conference on General Nurse Practitioner Practice (Basic Disease Treatment) 2025 – “A New Dimension of Nurse Practitioners in Primary Health Care”

On June 9, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sitthikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the opening of the academic conference. The event was formally reported by Asst. Prof. Phayom Sinsiri, Associate Dean for Academic Services and Social Empowerment, at the Police General Sanong Wattanawarangkura Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Chalermphrakiat Building, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom.

The conference aims to review and enhance the knowledge and skills of primary healthcare providers, particularly nurse practitioners and registered nurses. It also serves as a platform for experience-sharing between practicing nurses and expert speakers. Additionally, the event is part of the college’s academic service mission to develop community-based healthcare by strengthening the competencies of healthcare providers, enabling the public to take sustainable care of their own health.

The project is scheduled from June 9 to 13, 2025, with a total of 98 participants. The conference features distinguished guest speakers from Suranaree Camp Hospital, Ramathibodi School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Nakhon Phanom Ratchanakharin Psychiatric Hospital, Somdet Phra Yuparat That Phanom Hospital, Sakon Nakhon Provincial Public Health Office, Na Yung Hospital, Phon Sawan Hospital, and Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom.

BCNN Holds Orientation Program for 33rd Cohort of Nursing Students, Academic Year 2025

On June 11, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Supranee Sittikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, presided over the opening ceremony of the New Student Orientation Program for the 33rd cohort of the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program for the academic year 2025. She delivered a congratulatory speech and introduced the administrative team, faculty members, and staff. She also warmly welcomed the new students and their parents. The event began with a report by Assistant Professor Prapairat Kaewsiri, Deputy Dean for Educational Development. It was attended by executives, faculty members, staff, students, and parents at the Srikhotrabun Conference Room, Boromarajonani College of Nursing Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University.

The orientation program aims to prepare new students by providing them with knowledge and understanding of academic management, teaching and learning processes, and student activities. Activities included bonding exercises to build relationships with senior students, faculty, and staff, a spiritual ceremony to pay respect to sacred entities within the institution, and events such as “First Impressions Day” and “Candlelight of Connection.” The program also included the traditional Bai Sri Su Kwan ceremony to uplift and encourage new students. Furthermore, the orientation fostered positive attitudes toward nursing education and the institution, helping students adapt to the new environment and understand the college’s academic regulations. It also promoted the development of English language skills and the cultivation of a personal growth mindset. The program was held from June 11–13, 2025.

BCNN Holds Interviews for Graduate Program Applicants in Community Nurse Practitioner for Academic Year 2025

On June 11, 2025, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom under Nakhon Phanom University conducted interviews for candidates eligible to pursue graduate studies in the Master of Nursing Science Program in Community Nurse Practitioner for the academic year 2025. The interviews were held online at Room NU 305, 3rd Floor, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom.

This academic year, there were a total of 10 applicants, all of whom were eligible for interviews. Eight candidates attended the interview, while two withdrew from the process. The interview session is considered a crucial step in selecting qualified professionals to advance the nursing profession at the community level.

Dr. Supranee Sitthikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, assigned Assistant Professor Phiphatphong Khemppanya, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies, Research, and Innovation, as the main coordinator of the interview process. BCNN Host Extracurricular Learning Activity for the 16th Class of the Practical Nurse Certificate Program: “Let’s Grow Together”

On June 11, 2025, Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Phanom University, together with Asst. Prof. Phayom Sinthasiri, Associate Dean for Academic Services and Social Empowerment, and Asst. Prof. Jarintorn Kotphrom, Associate Dean for Policy, Planning, and Budgeting, led faculty members and students of the 16th Practical Nurse Certificate Program in participating in the extracurricular learning activity titled “Let’s Grow Together.”

The activity aimed to provide students with guidance on university life, enhance their understanding of the academic system, student discipline, and adjustment to college life. It also aimed to promote positive relationships between students and faculty, as well as to prepare students mentally and equip them with essential skills to effectively pursue their nursing assistant education.

The event featured various activities that supported out-of-classroom learning, such as preparing planting areas to cultivate environmental awareness, fostering teamwork, and developing life skills alongside health awareness.

A special session titled “Living Life on Campus” was also held to help students adapt happily and responsibly to the new academic environment. This session was honored by the presence of experienced lecturers — Ajarn Chalinda Phatcharasuk, Ajarn Witthawat Phothao, Ajarn Priebkaew Farami, and Ajarn Chawala Buahom — who shared their insights and provided close guidance to the students.
