About Bcnn
An Introduction to Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom (BCNN)
Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, was established in accordance with the public health policies outlined in the 6th National Economic and Social Development Plan (1987-1991). This plan mandated the enhancement of standards and the qualitative development of public health services at the sub-district (Tambon) level, stipulating the placement of at least one nurse in every sub-district health promoting hospital.
Consequently, to address the need for an increased number of nursing personnel sufficient for public health operations, the Ministry of Public Health founded Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, as an additional institution. The objective was to provide educational opportunities for the youth residing in neighboring provinces, such as Mukdahan, Sakon Nakhon, and Nong Khai, enabling them to pursue their studies at this local college, thereby obviating the need for them to travel to other regions for their education.
