BCNN Organizes Curriculum Enrichment Activities for Nursing Assistant Certificate Program (Batch 16), Promoting Financial Literacy and Positive Communication Skills
On July 2, 2025, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom, under Nakhon Phanom University, organized a curriculum enrichment activity for students in the 16th cohort of the Nursing Assistant Certificate Program. The event was officially opened by Asst. Prof. Darunee Sawatichot, Assistant Dean for Academic Services, on behalf of Dr. Supranee Sithikan, Dean of the College.
The activity aimed to develop desirable characteristics and essential life skills for future nursing assistants through two key components. The first was a financial literacy session conducted by guest speakers from the Government Savings Bank. The session focused on personal financial planning, mindful spending, and practical saving strategies for long-term financial stability. On-site bank account opening services were also provided to participating students.
The second component was a session on positive communication and university adjustment, led by Asst. Prof. Kamolnut Klongdee, Head of the Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Department. The session emphasized the development of positive communication skills, fostering effective relationships in the healthcare work environment, and enhancing empathy and understanding among team members.
The program was designed to support the holistic development of students by equipping them with key competencies and values required for their future roles in healthcare. The event took place at the “Fah Thor Tawan” Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Chalermphrakiat Building, Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Nakhon Phanom.
